Apostle Stubbs met and married her High School sweetheart Javer Stubbs, Sr. in 1989, while he was stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
She is the proud mother of four beautiful children: Jessica, Ijason, Javer Jr., & Francesca Darnelle. She is also Pastor of Sure Word of Deliverance Apostolic Church where she ministers along side her husband in Spring Lake, NC.

In 1993, Apostle Stubbs birthed Young Women with a Vision (Y.W.W.V.) while enduring tribulation in her own marriage. The Lord spoke and began a work to save marriages and bring healing to the women of God as they persevered through to see their home healed and delivered. As a result, YWWV has reached women of all ages providing nurturing, mentoring, prophetic impartation and deliverances in particular those most notably affecting the mind of the believer.

In 1999, the ministry changed its name to Spirit of Deborah Ministries (S. O. D).Taking our cue from Holy Spirit and the Book of Judges chapter four to lead and stand in the gap through intercession and the preaching of the Gospel. Spirit of Deborah Ministries successfully hosts "The School of Prophetic Mobilization". We will teach, train, birth and mobilize sons and daughters to be a blessing to the Body of Christ. S.O.D. has helped to launch others into their respective callings, provide them with a sounding board, an avenue of encouragement, accountability, and training. Our aim is to prepare and make available mature ministry gifts to the body of Christ to do what Eph 4 says the five fold ministry has been appointed to do.

In 2004, the Lord brought into fruition the vision for a Christian School for our children, Heritage of the Lord Christian School. It began with four students and has graduated 3 classes and has recently completed its 5th year of educating young people and providing adult educational services for adults who wish to complete their high school education.

Apostle Stubbs has written articles for Woman-to-Woman Magazine (NDCC), created Bible Studies, some of which are being used at Haltwhistle Women's Fellowship, London, England (AOG), and has also written several articles for an online Pastor's Wives Newsletter (Pastor's Wives Thriving in the Fishbowl).

As a gift to the Body of Christ, Apostle Stubbs has given herself to "The Work of the Ministry" in whatever capacity the Lord sees fit. Her goal is to see many souls saved and delivered; those that call on Jesus as Lord walking in their full potential, equipped for battle and bringing glory to God.
