Our mission is to show concern and compassion to our community by lending a helping
hand to those who are unable and limited to helping themselves.
A very high average of low – moderate-income
homes in the Spring Lake area are struggling to make ends meet. Families with no income are unable to make any ends meet.
Some have never had the chance of opportunity to a fresh start of hope to a better future. We understand that some struggles
have not been by choice. Some are unemployed or unable to provide because of situations that were not preventable. Many have
had to chose between work and family, have lack of transportation, just moved to town with no family or friends to turn to,
a bad altercation with a manager, felony charges from the past which effects their future now, etc.
As we have
assisted many it has also been discovered that some are not able to receive government assistance or enough assistance because
of their income. However, most of these families with income are living from paycheck to paycheck, which leaves nothing to
save or build toward that would give the ability to a new start and hope of a better future.
Within this past year we have exceeded in the amount of food, clothing and financial assistance. Because
we are a nonprofit organization we have personally assisted others in need from our own pockets, closets and table. We would
love to continue with this mission but it has become unaffordable and cannot be done alone. We solicit your support.
